| To those who knew him, Alan Riley is warmly remembered
as a brilliant jazz musician and master double bass repairer. Alan's
passion for the instrument was contagious, and nothing pleased him
more than being able help young people discover double bass. The Bass
Shop is pleased to introduce Damien
Lawson, the first winner of The Alan Riley Rockabilly Prize. We
