The more Richard 'The Crayon Kid' Greenup experiments with airbrushing, the more amazed we are!!  This is Richard's very first attempt to recreate a flame effect on a double bass.  All we can say is WOW!!  We managed to get this little beauty strung up in time for Dean Upston of Wes Pudley and the Sonic Aces ( www.myspace.com/sonicaces ) to play at the Slim Jim Phantom gig.  Richard is also experimenting with a blue fire effect.  Keep watching this space!


Ross Mooney, bassist with "Vessel of Sin", purchased this Gliga III bass which was custom painted black with silver trim by The Bass Shop.

'Mike How from South Australia wanted the traditional black with white trim, but also wanted something different. 
The Crayon Kid came up with the idea of spider-webbing on the sides, and Mike is thrilled with the result.'
